The University of Florida Department of Neurology invites applications from outstanding candidates for a full-time, tenure accruing or non-tenure track faculty position, at the rank of Associate/Full Professor to lead the Behavioral Neurology Division. The department is looking for a transformational leader in cognitive and behavioral neurology.
        Outstanding research and clinical opportunities exist with a growing referral base, a new dedicated Neuromedicine Hospital, state-of-the-art structural and functional neuroimaging and a growing Neurology department at a University ranked in nation’s top 15 public schools.  UF is located in a vibrant university city recently rated as #1 most desirable city to live in the USA. Director, Cognitive and Memory Program

The Department of Neurology at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, a member of Lahey Health, invites applications from outstanding  BE/BC neurologists with expertise in Cognitive  Disorders to become the Director of the Cognitive and Memory Clinic. The Cognitive and Memory Clinic at Lahey has a long history of exceptional clinical care of patients with memory and cognitive issues. We are seeking a physician with leadership skills who will run the cognitive program with a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach working with other physicians, advanced practioners, social workers and neuropsychologists in providing superb care to patients with memory disorders. The successful candidate will also be involved in clinical research in cognitive science and will teach and supervise medical students, neurology residents and other colleagues. 

Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is an academic affiliate of Tufts University Medical School. The department of neurology consists of 22 physicians, 2 PhDs, 4 APCs, and is an integral part of the Tufts neurology residency.  Faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience. Candidates with interest and background in cognitive/neuroscience research are encouraged to apply.  We are unable to sponsor J1 visa waiver.

Behavioral Neurologist Position
Advocate Memory Center – Greater Chicago Area

As part of a growth initiative, the Advocate Memory Center is seeking a Behavioral Neurologist to join their team. The Memory Center is a part of Advocate Medical Group (AMG) which is a division of Advocate Health Care, the largest fully integrated health care delivery system in Illinois and one of the nation’s top health systems based on clinical performance.
 
The Advocate Memory Center utilizes a multidisciplinary and compassionate approach to treating Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, with a dedication to patient-centered care, family support and research. The Center has considerable philanthropic and administrative support, and is seeking to expand its operations over the next few years.

The Behavioral Neurologist will be responsible for managing the health care needs of patients with memory loss and other cognitive deficits. This position will also involve teaching, research and community outreach activities.

Overall job functions will include:
• Assess patients, determine priorities of care, plan interventions and treatments and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Provide patient/family counseling, behavior programs and support
• Collaborate with Memory Center care team to develop patient treatment plan
• Participate in and/or serve as principal investigator on clinical research trials
• Provide clinical training, clinician education and community outreach 

Position Requirements include MD/DO degree and successful completion of Neurology Residency from accredited college/program. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active and unrestricted Illinois license. Significant experience assessing patients with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. Successful completion of Behavioral Neurology Fellowship is desirable, but not a requirement. Experience with clinical research is also desirable, but not a requirement for applying.

NEUROLOGIST    
TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER
The Department of Neurology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, in Lubbock Texas has an opening for a Neurologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank.  The opening is for the position of Director, Alzheimer's Disease Program.  This is an endowed chair, “The Corinne Payne Wright Regents Endowed Chair in Alzheimer’s Disease”.  Candidates must have completed an accredited neurology residency and fellowship specializing in Behavior Neurology or Alzheimer's.  

Candidate must be Texas licensed or eligible for Texas licensure. Candidate should be well-versed in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders in adults. The candidate will join an active clinical and research program in Alzheimer's disease research in aging and dementia. TTUHSC is home to several research efforts already in place such as the Garrison Institute on Aging, Marie Hall Institute for Rural and Community Health.  The position also includes the appointment as the PI of the 2 year grant of the Texas Alzheimer’s Research and Care Consortium (TARCC). The candidate is expected to develop a robust clinical practice with significant activity in research.  Involvement in medical student education and our residency training program is also expected.  The TTUHSC Department of Neurology covers neurologic specialties including epilepsy, stroke, movement disorders, MS and neuroimmunology, neuromuscular disorders, endovascular neurology and an Alzheimer’s research program. The department serves the communities of West Texas and surrounding areas to include portions of Eastern New Mexico.

ACADEMIC COGNITIVE-BEHAVIOURAL NEUROLOGY
The successful applicant will have advanced training and the demonstrated capacity to excel in academic neurology, with specialized clinical expertise in cognitive-behavioural neurology, well-defined research interests supported by formal training in clinical-applied or basic cognitive neuroscience, and strong medical education skills. A track record of effective interdisciplinary collaboration will be an asset. Candidates must hold or be eligible for licensure as a neurologist in the province of Quebec. The successful candidate will hold an academic appointment as a member of the Contract Academic Staff at the full-time Assistant Professor (Clinical) level. This will be a three-year, renewable appointment. The successful applicants are expected to provide excellent clinical teaching and supervision to  residents and medical students, and to pursue scholarly activities in advancing clinical care or clinical research in the areas mentioned above. Clinical work will include contributions to an innovative, multidisciplinary out-patient clinical program focused on neurological disorders affecting cognition, affect and behaviour. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program based at the Montreal Neurological Institute. Remuneration will be according to the Quebec health care fee schedule.
